3 cups water
3 cups granulated sugar

Method
Heat water in a saucepan
Do not let it boil
Add sugar and stir until it dissolves
Remove pan from the heat
Set aside to cool
Pour in a clean 1-liter bottle
Cap tightly
Store in refrigerator if not using it

Methods

Shake.- When you cannot see through one of the ingredients, shake you must.
Stir.- When you can see through all the ingredients, stir in the shaker for at least 10 seconds, or with a barspoon in the glass.
Blend.- Always put ice and alcohol first.
Contrast color pouring.- Always put the most dense ingredients last with the glass tilted.
Flame.- Avoid doing it on a wooden table.
Dash.- The amount is equal to the seconds it takes for you to tip the container forward and back.
Rim.- Put lemon/lime juice in a plate or run a wedge along the rim of the glass.
Crush.- Use a muddler to triturate herbs or spices.
